To Philadelphia: A Firm Foundation for an Unstable City   Revelation 3:7-14

Introduction

I. COMMISSION: Write to a church built on unstable ground (3:7a).

II. CHARACTER: Jesus is holy and true, the only one qualified to access God’s kingdom (3:7b).

III. COMMENDATION: Although limited in their own strength, relying on God’s strength they remain faithful
                 to the Good News and loyal to Christ (3:8-10).

IV. COMFORT is found in Christ’s promise, presence and preservation in the face of persecution (3:10-11).

V. CALL: Do you know Christ and are you listening to His voice? (3:12)

VI. CHALLENGE: Trust in Christ’s strength as you live and proclaim His Good News to others (3:13).
