Dr. John Kimber, Senior Pastor
I am deeply passionate about the Bible. Flowing from this comes my love for expository preaching. My ministry focus is to teach the Bible in such a way that believers develop a greater knowledge of the riches contained in the Word of God. I trust that they will grow in Christlikeness, and be better equipped to share the good news of the gospel. Through the exposition of Scripture, I also long that those who are outside of Christ would come to Him in repentance and faith. My commitment to, and love for expository preaching, has led me to take up a Doctorate at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Christ is my all and the Bible is central in every aspect of my life and ministry.
Bob Port, Executive Pastor
I joined Faith’s pastoral staff in 1990 working with youth and children’s ministries because I sensed God’s call to make disciples in the local church. I now oversee all of our adult ministries such as Life Groups, Men’s ministries and Women’s ministries. As the Executive Pastor, I oversee helping the entire church family put into practice God’s vision for our church.
I enjoy the outdoors. I earned a Wildlife Management degree from West Virginia University and a Master’s of Divinity from Trinity Divinity School. In my spare time, I enjoy woodworking and camping. My wife, Julianne, and I have two adult children. Our daughter works in Wilderness education for a college, and our son works in design for software. He and his wife are great parents of our two fantastic young grandchildren.
Paul Taddeo, Worship and Media Arts
I am convinced that through a series of current events in my life that God is pursuing me. Ministry in Adoration at Faith is a means to testify to His wonderful work and grace in my life. The process of leading others into worship has been a calling on my life. I hope to continue in His work for as long as I am able and I hope to press on toward the goal set before me.
There is no doubt in my mind that God has placed a passion within me to lead His people to experience God’s presence through musical worship. I find it both humbling and empowering to serve in ministry as a child of God. In every way, my ministry is an outlet to make God known to believers and those looking for meaning in life.
I received my education at Messiah College, majoring in church music and minoring in business. I am married to Kathryn, my beautiful wife of ten years, and together we have two wonderful children, Sienna and Colden. I remain committed first and foremost to my family. They are my current and future support system and where I find great joy. I am so thankful for who they are and what they bring to the family to make it what it is.
Jon Schultz, Student Ministries Pastor
As the Student Ministries Pastor at Faith, I count it a joy to serve our students both in the church, and to the greater community for the Gospel. I believe I am called to minister alongside with families through the highs and lows of life for God’s glory.
I am a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute (2005) bachelor’s degree from Clarks Summit University (2008), and a master’s from Baptist Bible Seminary (2017). Currently I am pursuing a masters of biblical counseling from Faith Bible Seminary in Indiana.
Most importantly, it is a blessing to be making memories with my wife, Beth, and our three sons: Evan, Aiden and Liam. We love spending time together outside when it’s warm and playing board games like Catan, when it’s cold. We count it a joy to have been in full-time youth ministry since 2008 and thankful for the friendships made along the way.
Kathryn Taddeo, Early Childhood Director
As the Early Childhood Director here at Faith I am blessed to work with a wonderful staff who desires to glorify God as we serve the Church.
My husband Paul Taddeo was called in September 2011 to be the Faith’s Worship and Media Arts Director. At that time we moved here from Harrisburg, PA with our two young children Sienna and Colden. It was an exciting start for us and one that had us closer to both sets of Grandparents in Syracuse, NY! One thing about our family is that we love to get away from the noise of life and together find much peace hiking and being outdoors in God’s creation.
Now having attended Faith for 10 years I do bring experience, having served in various roles within FaithKids and a variety of ministries here at Faith. I was saved at an early age, and had the blessing of being part of a Christian family and church my entire life. I received a dual Bachelor of Science degree from Cairn University for Bible and for Health and Physical Education K-12, which came in handy last year while working as a substitute teacher during the COVID crisis. Although I’ve worked in administrative and management level positions at various companies, I’ve always desired to serve the Lord in ministry. I am excited for the opportunity this position gives me and I look forward to loving on families with little ones and teaching our precious preschoolers that Jesus loves them!
Cheryl Misiewicz, Children’s Elementary Director
I grew up in a family that was very involved in a church, never imagining that I would one day follow in my parents’ footsteps, but God had a different plan!
I received my bachelor’s in Elementary Education from SUNY Oswego. Since then, I have worked as a daycare teacher, front desk attendant, customer service manager, and most recently, a daycare director. I am so excited to be serving as the Children’s Elementary Director at Faith. Teaching children to have a love for Christ is one of the most important things I can do with my life. Watching children get the lightbulb of understanding is one of my greatest joys.
I have been very blessed to be married to my husband, Chaz, for almost 18 years. We have 5 wonderful kids: Reilly, Carter, Tyler, Hayley and Lauren, and we have been attending Faith for over 10 years now. During that time, we have served in the nursery, FaithKids and the youth group. Our oldest son also serves on Faith’s Media Team.
