Honor Your Mother Proverbs 6:20-22 and Leviticus 19:1-3
1. A mother’s love reflects the character of God (Psalm 131:2; Isaiah 66:13).
2. The bond between mother and child gives life security (“Amen”; Luke 7:13; John 19:26-27).
3. A mother’s wisdom guides life’s journey (Proverbs 1:8; 6:20-22; 31:1-9; 2 Timothy 1:5).
4. Leaving your father and mother is a big milestone in life (Genesis 2:24).
5. To honor your mother displays spiritual maturity (Exodus 20:12; Leviticus 19:2-3; Luke 18:20).
