For You And Your Family

Adults: We have training opportunities for adults at 10:30 am in our Faith Groups for Adults.

Children: If you have children from birth through 4th grade, they can participate in our fun and safe children’s ministry during each service. For our 5th and 6th graders, we have Route56 ministry which takes place during the 10:30 am worship service.

Youth: Students in 7th to 12th grades meet for life application Bible study during the 10:30 am worship service with refreshments and a time of connection with friends.

Families: Family Worship Night is every Wednesday at 6:30 pm during the school year and there is something for every age group.  Awana for the children, FaithStudents for youth and Faith Groups for Adults.

Adoration is love given with deep affection. The term comes from the Latin adōrātiō, meaning “to give homage or worship to someone or something. Worship expressed through music and corporate singing is one of the ways we show our adoration for God and His Son Jesus Christ.

Worship is our response to God for what he has already done for us. We come together as a family to worship God corporately and to experience His presence. This gathering results in a refreshing time where we can look at what God has done for us and how He has changed our lives.

We have two 70-minute Sunday services that are designed to give God glory through music, offerings, preaching and other forms of media. It is important for us to be centered in God’s word through these methods of communication.

If you are interested in sharing your musical gifts or being a part of the media team at Faith, please contact Paul.

Affirmation

We invite you to a night to focus on God as a family at our Family Worship Night on Wednesdays during the school year. We have AWANA ministry for children, FaithStudents for junior and senior high students, and Faith Groups for adults. Children and adults will gather in the sanctuary for the first 20 minutes for contemporary worship and a family focus, after which each group is dismissed to their separate programs.

Our vision as a church is to exalt God, equip fellow believers and to evangelize those who do not have a relationship with Christ. To help us fulfill that vision, we invite you to join us for a Family Worship Night on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm except during school vacations. Our objectives are:

  • To encourage families to worship, grow and serve together.
  • To refresh our focus on God in the middle of the week.
  • To reach the community through a convenient midweek worship experience.
  • To keep connected with those whose weekends have work, travel and family responsibilities.

What to expect?

  • Casual dress
  • Contemporary worship
  • A family focus
  • Biblical teaching
  • An opportunity to pray

Faith Groups for Adults offered on Family Worship Night (starting September 11, 2019)

Freedom in Christ

We will use Neil Anderson’s two books, Victory Over the Darkness and The Bondage Breaker, and our Bibles, to explore scriptural truths about who we are, that will “set the captive free,” (Isaiah 61:1, Luke 4:18).

When: Wednesday from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Room C01
Teacher: Sue Groh

Passing the Baton: Leadership Development

Leadership transitions are part of God’s plan for His people throughout history. As Pastor Peter prepares to “pass the baton” of leadership at Faith, what can we learn from biblical examples of leadership transition to apply to our church, families, community and workplace?

When: Wednesday from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Room C02
Teacher: Pastor Peter Mason

Developing Authentic Relationships with Self, God, and Others

In order for us to experience more meaningful relationships, they need to be based in reality. The Fall has twisted our ability to see and relate to ourselves, God, and others in authentic, meaningful, and transformative ways. Christ came that we might have life. He brings shalom — peace, wholeness, restoration, and realness to relationships. This class will focus on helping individuals better see relationships and offer practical skills and ways to take steps toward working out redemption with ourselves (relationship with our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors), God, and others.

When: Wednesday from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Room S02 (in the Sanctuary Wing)
Teacher: Paul Caprera, Christian Counselor, CCA Hope

Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.

Billy Graham

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
