Holy Wholeness

God’s Big Plan, for our lives today

Holy Wholeness I. A holy God who displays his glory . . . A. A holy God • “I am holy” (Lev. 11:44, 45) • “I, the LORD your God, am holy” (19:2). • “I the LORD am holy” (20:26). • “I, the LORD, who sanctify you, am holy” (21:8). God is “the holy one” and is holy in every one of his attributes. II. A holy priesthood who enter into his glorious presence… III. A holy people who reflect God’s glory “Be holy, for I, the Lord your God, am holy” (Leviticus 19:2, NLV). This command is repeated eight times in the Bible (11:44-45; 19:2; 20:7, 26; 21:8; 1 Peter 1:15-16 and compare 2 Cor. 7:1). The Bible presents God as a loving God. But, his love is expressed in holiness for our holiness. “These words are much more than an admonition from a holy God. They are an invitation to wholeness and close fellowship with the Lord.” “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven . . .”
