Wednesday nights are family nights here at Faith!
We have opportunities for everyone at each stage of life to grow in their relationship with the Lord, and with other believers. Our overarching focus this year is on discipleship, broken up into 10-week intervals.
What is discipleship?
What does discipleship look like?
How can we be disciples?
How can we disciple others?
How can we grow in our understanding of God’s Word?
Adults
This Fall, from September 14 until November 16, adults can take part in a 10-week discipleship course for adults, facilitated by Pastor John Kimber, using Francis Chan’s book Multiply: Disciples Making Disciples. Contact the church office for more information.
Teens
Up in the Youth Room, teens in grades 6-12 will spend a month or so discussing the radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love of God, and how we are to respond to his love. Pastor Jon Schultz will be using the book, “Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God” by Frances Chan as a basis for discussion. When that wraps up the teens will be focusing on the topic of discipleship, which should be the believer’s response to God’ crazy love. Discussions will be based on the book “Multiply: Disciples Making Disciples” by Francis Chan. Contact Pastor Jon for more information, or with any questions.
Children
Children in grades K-5 will meet in the gym area for our Zip+AWANA program. Zip+AWANA incorporates learning about Jesus with fun activities! Each week kids will be trying something new, like making slime with kitchen science, playing gym games, and creating cool crafts. Most importantly, they will be learning together about Jesus using AWANA tools for discipleship, giving children an opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus. Friends are always welcome, and children are encouraged to bring a friend. Contact Carrie Pearson for more information.
